2010-11 Report on State Performance

The 2010-11 Report on State Performance takes a close look at the activities of 30 commonwealth agencies, providing details on their challenges and accomplishments as they work to improve the lives of Pennsylvania's citizens.

The report reviews goals in the areas of education, economic development, health and human services, the environment, public safety, consumer protection and government efficiency. By outlining agencies’ key objectives and presenting measurable results in dozens of different categories, the report evaluates state government's ongoing efforts to deliver quality services to its citizens. This emphasis on accountability is especially important in today's uncertain economy, when state resources are stretched thin and every dollar must be spent wisely.

The first Report on State Performance was released in 2008. The latest report and the 2009-10 report are available only online, in a "dashboard" format that offers interactive features not possible with a paper report. (The online report includes PDF print options readers can use to print specific sections of the report.) All of the reports were prepared by the Office of the Budget’s Office for Performance Improvement, with the assistance of the participating agencies.

The report is best viewed with a screen resolution of 1024 x 768; it requires Adobe Flash Player 9.0 or higher. Find out which version of the Flash Player you have.
